DIY or Call Us?

There’s a safe middle ground here, and then there’s the part that needs a technician.

What you can check: verify the keypad has 12-24 VAC at the terminal block, confirm the antenna wire hasn’t been chewed by rodents (common on Los Gatos properties with oak canopy), and test whether the issue follows the remote or stays with the gate. If one remote fails and another works, it’s the remote, not the receiver.

Where DIY goes wrong: access control boards handle low-voltage logic, but they’re wired into the gate operator’s high-voltage relay circuit.
